Our Team

Mel is CEO of NT Group. Mel has wide experience in project management in the construction and design industry, including developing a 300-bed hospital in Ethiopia and managing residential/commercial construction projects in the DC Metro region. Mel serves on the board of Centennial Power International Corp., a holding company of fully integrated solar energy businesses with a dedicated team in Sub-Saharan Africa. He is a member of Cal Poly Engineering’s Dean Leadership Board and was inducted into Cal Poly College of Engineering’s Hall of Fame. Prior to starting NT Group LLC in 2004, He practiced at law firms for 8 years, including at Dewey Ballantine and Graham & James. Mel started his professional career as a Chemical Engineer for Dow Chemical Company. Mel obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, with a Minor in Material Science and Engineering, from California Polytechnic State University, California. He has completed a Certificate Program in Project Management from Georgetown University; and received Certified Certificates in “Entrepreneurship and Healthcare in Emerging Economies”and “Innovating in Health Care”offered by Harvard Business School. 

Mark is Senior Construction Manager at

NT Construction. Mark is a highly recognized professional with over 45 years of experience in the Commercial Construction Industry starting his career as an entry level tradesman, advancing to President and CEO of a Self- Performing Commercial General Contractor / Developer affording his exposure and involvement in virtually all aspects of the commercial construction industry from project concept through a successful project completion.

Mark provides exceptional relationship building, problem solving and organizational skills while consistently driving productivity, project safety and quality control by maintaining policies / procedures, cost controls, high-performance teams, and positive rapport with owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors and local officials.

At NT Construction, Mark is directly responsible for the overall and effective executive management of construction operations, personnel, contracts, and related activities in addition to responding quickly to the changing needs of clients and project conditions through constant and detailed communication.

 Marina is the Associate Director of Architectural Services of NT Group. (CR Studios) Marina has 8 years of experience as an Architect in Russia and more than 4 years working in DC. Worked with all phases of building design, from sketch to construction documents for various types of facilities such as civil buildings, single-family homes, multistory apartment complexes, industrial objects, warehouses, and sport facilities. Also familiar with territory planning, reconstruction, and renovation of buildings and facilities.  

 Chuck is the Director of Architectural Services at NT Group. (CR Studios) Chuck has worked in the design field for over 20 years. As an ambivalent-minded licensed architect, he brings a multifaceted design approach to projects that aspires to introduce original solutions to common architectural routines. By amalgamating his unique frame of precedent with his experience in woodworking, welding, and drawing, he brings value to the project by manipulating light, and space.

 Chapman Paret is a real estate professional with four years of real estate development experience. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics B.S. and a Minor in Finance. Chapman worked in financial services for two years before joining NT Group LLC.  Chapman is NT Group LLC's controller and operations manager who oversees construction financing, project development, and logistics for multi-family/mixed-use development projects.  Chapman serves as the owner representative for NT Group and ensures success in the company’s acquisition process, underwriting, deal analysis, and capital structuring. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, data science, and immersing himself in the blockchain and real estate space
